About
A menstrual cup is form of reusable menstrual protection. It is inserted into the vagina to collect menstrual fluids. Once in place it forms a seal, preventing blood flowing out of the vagina by collecting it in its “cup” shaped reservoir. Unlike a tampon which absorbs the blood along with the vagina’s natural secretions, a menstrual cup simply holds the fluids until you remove it – so they do not dry out the vagina and do not hold the TSS risk that tampons do.
They hold around 20-30ml, which is for most women will cope with a full day without emptying, and at most perhaps you would need to empty it a few times a day for a very heavy flow. A menstrual cup will last (with proper care) for around 10 years, perhaps longer, so while the initial outlay is high, it pays for itself with savings pretty quick.

I’m brazilian. I have a Green Donna (size 2). For me, it seems to be similar to Lunette.

On a site (http://www.greendonna.com) the reference does not work to send the message. How to contact firm? I wish to make the order! alenka_ph_a@mail.ru

The website doesn’t work for Green Donna.
Comment by melanie | December 7, 2011
Hi! This cup is not Brazilian.. The only Brazilian brand is Inciclo (MissCup). 😉
Comment by Marcela Braga | January 27, 2015
Green Donna hasn’t been sold anywhere for years (since 2010) – because Green Donna was breaking Lunette’s design copyright.
So it WAS (as you can see in the comments above) a Brazilian cup, but is not being made any more.

My first cup was a Green Donna. I ordered it off of Ebay when searching for “Mooncup.” It came in a pink box that said Mooncup on it and I believe it had a pink bag. I had no idea it was going to be a Green Donna when I bought it. Maybe they are still floating around on Ebay.
