This brand is a little confusing because website talks of their own brand of cup, however the site shows pictures from Lunette, Lady Cup and Mooncup UK, does not show photos of their own cup (however there are photos on their facebook page), and says the cups are manufactured in a Finnish factory (talking of the Lunettes?)

Also the e-mail address listed on their site (orders@gentis.co.za) didn’t work when I tried it, it came back with a domain not found error (The website they reference http://www.gentis.co.za is also not working).   I messaged them via their website to find out what cup they are selling – they did not respond.

Update:  A representative from Genti-She commented (below) to say the website had been hacked.  Which adds to the confusion around this brand and its websites (See post here)

MPower

mpower

Country of origin: South Africa
Composition: Medical Grade Silicone
Sizes: “Light” (small)  “Standard” (Large)
Dimensions: Light =39mm diameter, 45mm long without stem, 60mm including stem.  Standard=42mm diameter, 50mm without stem, 65mm including stem.
Capacity: Light=18mls, Standard=27ml
Stem: Flat Tab
Measuring Lines: No
Cost (RRP): R265
Guarantee: None?
Been around since: October 2008
Unique Design?: No (Appears to be created using another cup brand design)
Review: https://menstrualcups.wordpress.com/2010/08/07/mpower-photos-observations
Other Details: In an e-mail from the company they told me: “I specifically chose a non-coloured silicone for my MPowercup as my pharmaceutical grade manufacturer advised against a colour. Colour silicone is readily available but he would not 100% guarantee it for this particular application. I did not want to take a chance so went with clear as in catheter tubing and ICU tubing etc is also clear.”.  They also are running a program to give the Mpower cups to impoverished women in South Africa.

As of July 2010 – Due to a possible design conflict with Lunette, the MPower is apparently going to be redesigned.
