Menstrual Cups

AliExpress search

Country of origin: China
Composition: “Silicone”
Sizes:  1
Dimensions: 70mm Long,  40mm diameter
Capacity:  20mls
Stem: Hollow tube with a ball valve
Measuring Lines: no
Cost (RRP): Unknown (Can buy from around $8 USD)
Been around since: Unknown (2014?)
Unique Design?: Yes (This cup design appears to have been created by this brand but appears to have been rebranded by other brands)
Other Details:  The stem is a hollow tube with an opening on the end – this allows the cup to be emptied while still inserted. A ball acts as a stopper to close the tube while in use, and can be moved further up the stem (into the larger portion) to allow the cup to drain.  I was told that Howard Peng from Honserve Trading developed this cup, and he asked me to only link to his listings.  However there seems to be no listings from that company any more, so I’ll link to an AliExpress search instead.  Also please note that there are a lot of different cups using the “Bassrose” box and name – but the original “Bassrose” cup is this cup design with the ball-valve stem (which was also known briefly as a “Dilan” cup in some AliExpress listings).

The same sort of concept of Victoria Love, but this one has the hole to empty the cup on the bottom of the stem (unlike VL which has the holes on the side of the bottom of the stem).

  1. Here’s another link to it if you’d like:

The translucent turquoise one I saw awhile back while iCare shopping, and the opaque maroon-colored one you have pictured, are quite pretty and I’d be tempted to try them partly for that reason :p The cup design itself also looks like it’d seal and fit better than the Victoria’s Love. (This one looks more Fleur-like)

  2. Hi ;D

Here is the message I got, after I wrote to the company (they replied really quickly)

“Thank you very much for your interest with our product.
at the moment we have only one size.
the softness is even. the tube is soft also and user can squeeze and rub it for clean up.
the rim is a little bit firmer as you can see from picture it is a little bit thicker.
there is no vent hole near the rim because it is no need. the discharge outlet itself is a big vent hole to balance air pressure.
    capacity is 25 to 30ml.
where did you read this work “dilan”? if you let me know related info maybe i know its meaning.
the 2nd generation was designed by Korean company and it is available on market.
It is difficult to use, and has a risk if the stick got loss and leak.
If you have further question please feel free to write to me by or skype: howard.peng987
Thanks again for your interest in our product.
    We are looking for agent.
    Best regards,
    Howard Peng”

  3. I was asked by the designer of the cup (Honserv Trading) to only include the links to his listings, as the other listings are other people selling the same cups….

But yes, there are a few links to buy this cup.

  4. Ah I see. Is anyone planning on reviewing the Bassrose? Considering the company actually sounds pretty helpful and it’s a unique design I’d be really interested in hearing what people think. And I think that dark maroon/burgundy one is a very pretty color!
