A menstrual cup is form of reusable menstrual protection. It is inserted into the vagina to collect menstrual fluids. Once in place it forms a seal, preventing blood flowing out of the vagina by collecting it in its “cup” shaped reservoir. Unlike a tampon which absorbs the blood along with the vagina’s natural secretions, a menstrual cup simply holds the fluids until you remove it – so they do not dry out the vagina and do not hold the TSS risk that tampons do.
They hold around 20-30ml, which is for most women will cope with a full day without emptying, and at most perhaps you would need to empty it a few times a day for a very heavy flow. A menstrual cup will last (with proper care) for around 10 years, perhaps longer, so while the initial outlay is high, it pays for itself with savings pretty quick.

i bought mine off an ebay seller (for around $16) and it’s pink!!! don’t know whether that helps with the colour question, but i’m loving it
I also bought mine on ebay in India. It cost app. 1000 Rs including shipping (within India). It has measuring lines btw. As far as I know there is only one size and mine is pink, too. Besides an explanation of the cup in English, there is a short instruction in Hindi in the leaflet.
I have a review on this brand. For now, they only come in pink. I also asked the company abotu the picture, because I too thought the cup in the box looked clear. They said no, it must have been a trick of the light. But they did send me samples of both their regular pink cup, and also another cup they were considering marketing (a multi-colored cup, half pink, half purple). I took lots of photos of both in the review. Did a video about it too. I actually do like this cup, it reminds me a little bit of the Miacup, but a nub stem and different color. Well, the grips are different too, they are 6 vertical lines about half an inch long at the base. I hope they do decide to market their multi-colored cup, because thus far, people have mostly liked it.
I have not tried this, but I’ve seen it for sale on Amazon.com for $18 USD.
